The information below relating to Word Forward's secretarial services is provided as a guide only. As an experienced, professional virtual assistant and transcriptionist, Lorraine ensures your needs are fully understood before commencing any work. All transcription, writing and administrative projects therefore are considered on an individual basis and quoted beforehand. Confidentiality is assured. Discounts are available to charities and volunteer organisations for transcription and administrative projects, and to engage Lorraine as a freelance writer.

    

 

	Standard basic rate is $25 per hour off-site. On-site is charged at a higher rate.
	Articles and all other freelance writing, 10c per word.
	Transcriptions: $1.60-$1.80 per audio minute depending on audio quality and technical content. (For more information on transcription, please refer to the transcription guidelines.)

A full schedule of rates and copy of standard contract agreement are available on request.

Payment is due on completion of work.  Large projects may require a deposit.

Regular clients are invoiced fortnightly or monthly, by mutual agreement and due within 7 days of invoice. 

Hourly rates are billed in 1/4 hour increments.

Other administration costs such as stationery, printing, postage, etc. are additional to freelance writing and secretarial services and itemised separately.

Transcription is word for word unless otherwise requested. If editing and special formatting is required, transcriptions will attract a rate of $1.80 per audio minute.

Our preferred method of payment is by Electronic Funds Transfer direct into our bank account. Details are provided on the invoice. Payments can also be made via Paypal.

Australian clients may also make payment by Cheque, Money Order or Cash.
